This comprehensive history of the Catholic Church includes every major event in the Church’s history from the life of her founder, Jesus Christ, to the present day. The Didache Complete Course Series is a series of four high school textbooks, teacher's manuals, and student workbooks published by Midwest Theological Forum. Each title spans one academic year. As of 2009, they were being used in about one-third Catholic high schools.

This textbook is published with ecclesiastical approval from the Archdiocese of Chicago, and it has been granted conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church by the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism.

Excellent and thorough textbook for homeschool high school theology

"The History of the Church - A Complete Course" is the third book in the Didache Series which is an outstanding series for teaching high school theology in a homeschool setting. This series of books is what Homeschool Connections, a Catholic online homeschool service, uses for its high school theology courses. Homeschool Connections is the best online Catholic curriculum out there with highly talented professors, many of whom are college professors as well as being on EWTN and published authors. The classes are 100% Catholic and the faith is instilled in every class from history to literature to science. This book is highly recommended.
