This book truly deepens my overall understanding of the intense love and most barbaric sufferings of Our Lord Jesus, all for humankind from the beginning with Adam and Eve to the present! God has no desire that ANYONE should fall from His grace and love. He has no desire to see souls lost from Him into the realm of Hell. Through His Passion of Love and sacrifice, He offers His sufferings as a path of Mercy for sins, venial and mortal. Humans are always given many opportunities to return to the fullness of God's love through His Divine Mercy. This dictation of the visions of Christ's Passion from Venerable Ann Catherine Emmerick to a renowned writer of her time might seem incomplete, and she admits there wasn't enough time to share in the details of Christ's 3 year ministry, but the most important aspects of Christ's Passion are shared for the benefit of all mankind.
