Scriptural Rosary Book

It is beautiful way to meditate upon each bead of the rosary. I have purchased several and just gave my own copy away.

I was so pleased to find this book as I had a very work copy that belonged to my grandmother. It is a perfect rosary companion, telling the interesting historical background, and contains all the prayers to do a rosary plus meditations from the Bible for each Hail Mary bead.

The book is a small but durable treasure. When the kids were school aged, and the drive to school took 8-10 minutes, we started taking turns praying one decade of the rosary during the commute. Of course, I didn't read or lead while driving, but the children took turns 'leading'. They read the short scriptures that preceded each Hail Mary. The scriptures were pertinent to the mysteries. The children were learning bible scriptures as we prayed each decade, and the mystery of the rosary was easy to mediate on while the scripture story lead us through the decade. I highly recommend using this little rosary book with children, or with private devotion. What started as a prayer for lent, lead to years of rosary's being prayed on the way to school. We all benefitted from this devotional.
