This is a good buy ..... the figurines are made out of resin/stone mix and can withstand rough handling and are chip resistant. Also, the painting on the figurines are very detailed and exquisite .... which was the main reason for the purchase. Only drawback is the set does not include Ox, Donkey, Sheep/ Shepherd .... you will have to buy them separately to match this set.
