There has been much interest as of late with many speaking about the End Times and the 3 Days of Darkness that proceeds it. 

So whether you are skeptical, fully believe or unsure about heeding the warnings, one thing we all know is there will be an End Times. Jesus will return. The Bible teaches us that. For many years, even more recent years, mystics and saints such as Bl. Anna-Maria Taigi, Elizabeth Canori-Mora, Rosa-Colomba Asdente, Palma d'Oria, in Italy; Father Nectou, in Belgium; St. Hildegard, in Germany; Pere Lamy, Marie Baourdi, Marie Martel, and Marie-Julie Jahenny in France have spoken about the End Times and 3 Days of Darkness. (This list is not exhaustive; many more mystics/Saints [like St. Columba d. 597 A.D. -ED] have also announced the Three Days.

In 1875 the Holy Spirit said to Marie-Julie: “There will be two days of horrible darkness, distinct from those advertised (I.e, different from the 3 days). The sky will be purple and red, so low that the clump of tall trees will be as lost. These two days will warn you, as an authentic proof of His goodness, as proof of descent from the wrath of God on earth. You will not be free from the darkness. So far, no soul has mentioned it, because those are not many who were made aware. To resist all these signs, holy water is a strength and consolation, and the candle, but with wax. All those that are not of this paste will not help.”

Remedies Revealed to Marie-Julie Jahenny (1850-1941) for the "Time of Times"

Following are some natural and supernatural remedies to use against the calamities that are menacing the world as revealed to Marie-Julie by our Lord and the Blessed Virgin. The calamities will begin by a REVOLUTION.

THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS (May 27, 1880)

ONLY BLESSED WAX CANDLES will give light. One such candle will suffice for each household during the three days of darkness. They will not give light in the homes of the impious and blasphemers. 

FATAL PLAGUES The one and only remedy to protect oneself: swallow a piece of very thin paper on which will be written: O JESUS, CONQUEROR OF DEATH, SAVE US. O Crux Ave.

FOR ANIMALS One must put around their necks a St. Benedict medal. (Our Lady warned all people to wear St. Benedict medal --- Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers).

DURING THE PERIOD OF THE GREAT CALAMITIES Recite the following prayer to the Holy Cross "I hail thee, I adore thee, I embrace thee, O, Adorable Cross of my Savior, protect us, keep us, save us. Jesus loved thee so much, by His example I love thee. By thy holy image calm my fears, I only feel peace and confidence."

GREAT STORMS The following prayer to the Cross, revealed by Our Lord, to be recited:
O Crux Ave, spes unica "Et Verbum caro factum est". O Jesus, Conqueror of death, save us.

WARS AND REVOLUTIONS Our Lord revealed during an ecstacy:
To dispel all fear and terror, you will touch your forehead with a holy picture or a medal of Mary Immaculate. Your spirit will remain calm. Your heart will not fear the approach of the terror of men. Your spirit will not experience the effects of My Great Justice.

UNKNOWN DISEASES (Given during an ecstacy)
A medal of My Divine Heart, a medal upon which is traced the Adorable Cross. You will steep into a glass of water the two images -- be it made of cardboard or metal. You will drink this water that is twice blessed and twice purified. One drop only in your food, one little drop, will suffice to drive away not the scourge, but the scourges of My justice. (The Miraculous Medal alone, fulfills the conditions required [the Editor]). You will give a drop of this water to the poor souls touched by the scourge of unknown diseases -- those which attack the heart, the spirit, the word.

DIVERSE ILLNESSES You will use by means of infusion (steeping, brewing):
The Herb of St. John ( Glechoma hederacea) (outdoor climbing ivy, on trees), especially in critical conditions and for the pains of the chest and violent headaches;

The Hawthorn (Craetagus oxyacantha), for use in cholera (which will be frequent and widespread) [see below for the precise method to be applied as indicated by the Holy Virgin];

For unknown fevers: the humble VIOLET (Viola odorata), perfume and virtue of humility, will be effective.

EPIDEMICS or EPIZOOTICS (May 14, 1880)
The Lord gives to the great St. Benedict the power to alleviate the great calamity. A respectful procession of the statute, made without any fear or dread, may arrest this calamity.

EARTHLY AND CELESTIAL FIRE (February 23, 1938)
The Sacred Heart of Jesus: The heat will be terrible... a sign of the Cross made with holy water will diminish the heat and drive away the sparks. You will kiss five times small indulgenced crosses... small crosses applied to the five wounds of Jesus Crucified on a holy image. For such protection may benefit souls, poor sinners, invoking My Immaculate Mother, Mother of Salvation, Refuge and Reconciliation of sinners.

OBJECTS OF PROTECTION The Holy Virgin: "Always have ready and at hand your objects of protection: your blessed wax candles, your medals, your pictures and holy objects from which flow all blessings."

The Holy Virgin says (April 15, 1900): "My little children, it is faith, it is confidence, the most beautiful of all prayer which obtains the most."

PLACES OF REFUGE Revelation of the Divine Heart of Jesus to Marie-Julie:
"My loved ones, there are three places of refuge (for the time of tribulations): My Divine Heart, My Divine Cross, and My Beloved Immaculate Mother."

St. Anne said the same things to Marie-Julie on July 26, 1923: "You have several places of refuge at the moment of chastisement: that of the Cross, the Adorable Divine Heart, and the Virginal Heart of my Immaculate Daughter."

THE MODE OF USING HAWTHORN As given by our Blesssed Mother on August 5, 1880:
"There will be a grave illness which human science will not be able to alleviate. This illness will attack firstly the heart, then the spirit, and at the same time, the tongue. It will be horrible. The heat accompanying it will be a devouring fire insupportable and so intense that the members of the body affected will be red -- an unendurable fiery red. At the end of seven days this disease, sown like a seed in the field (incubation period) will spread everywhere rapidly and make great progress."

"My children, here is the ONLY remedy which could save you. You are familiar with the Hawthorn which grows practically in all hedges. The leaves of the Hawthorn, not the wood, can arrest the progress of this disease."

"You will gather the leaves, not the wood. Even dry, they will keep their efficacy. You will put them into boiling water and leave them there for 14 minutes, covering the receptacle so that the steam remains therein. At the onset of this disease, one must use this remedy three times a day."

"This disease will produce a continual vomiting and nausea. If the remedy is taken too late, the part of the body affected will become black and in the black there will be seen a sort of pale, yellow streak."

Instructions have been given by Heaven that we are to make the Sign of the Cross over EVERYTHING we eat, drink and cook from now on.

We have also been instructed to have all the preparations for the GREAT COLD completed by October 1, 1987 , but we were not told when it would start.

Where it will occur The "Three Days" will be a world-wide event. There will be no place on earth that is not effected except those places in which the righteous have taken shelter.

Is this the "Last Judgement"? No. No one knows the time or the date when Our Lord will return to reclaim the Church and His people. Neither does anyone know when the Three Darkeness will occur. Just as Our Lord spoke of the end times in Sacred Scripture and said that no one but the Father knows the day or the hour but that we are to "watch and pray" and see the signs that say that the end is drawing near. The book of Revelations, as well, speaks of the events of the end times. This is not the "end times" nor the "last judgement". It is, however, a "final warning" to the world that God, though slow to anger and quick in kindness, is also merciful and just. That the world is given a chance to choose between Heaven and Hell speaks of God's mercy. That the world is chastised and purified speaks of God's justice.

The Aftermath A time of peace will exist after the Three Days of Darkness. The devil shall be consigned back to Hell along with all the souls which he claimed during the Three Days of Darkness. A "new world order" will exist in which the Church shall flourish and will be a means of healing and renewal in those who remain after the Three Days of Darkness. The world will be at peace and enjoy the love of God and the grace of renewal in the faith.

WHAT TO DO FOR PROTECTION DURING THE THREE DAYS

As soon as you perceive the disturbed signs of the very cold night: Go inside, shut and lock all doors and windows, pull down the shades, keep the doors and windows well covered, go and stay away from doors and windows. Do not look out, do not go outside for any reason, and do not talk to anyone outside. ANYONE WHO LOOKS OUT OR GOES OUT WILL DIE IMMEDIATELY! The wrath of God is holy and He does not want us to see it.

LIGHT YOUR BLESSED CANDLES

All will be black, and the only thing which will give light will be blessed wax candles; even these will not burn in the houses of the godless scoffers.

Once lit, NOTHING WILL PUT THEM OUT IN THE HOUSES OF THE BELIEVERS. Be sure to keep a supply of blessed wax candles in your homes -- also Holy Water to be sprinkled freely around the house, especially at doors and windows. Bless yourself and others with it. Drink it and anoint your "senses" with it (eyes, ears, nose, mouth) and hands, feet, and forehead.

KEEP ON HAND a sufficient supply of food, water and blankets for those of your household and any visitors. Do not count on any utilities.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS by leaving enough food and water outside for them to last these days. God will preserve the property of the elect, including their animals. It is assumed that house pets may be kept inside. Animals which have been petted or cared for by a BLESSED person receive a certain protection.

KNEEL DOWN BEFORE A CRUCIFIX AND PRAY INCESSANTLY. Pray with outstretched arms, or prostrate on the floor, pleading for many souls to be saved. Make acts of contrition, of faith, hope, and love. Make acts of Spiritual Communion. Read spiritual books. PRAY THE ROSARY with meditation on its mysteries. "You must think more of the Passion of Christ."

CALL UPON GOD'S MERCY, and call upon Our Blessed Mother for He has given these times into the care of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary (under that title). "No harm will come to those who are in the state of grace and seek My Mother's protection."

FOR YOUR SPECIAL INTERCESSORS, call upon the Holy Trinity, Holy Mary, Saint Joseph, Saints Peter and Paul, Saint Therese (the Little Flower), Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, Saint Conrad of Parzham, the Holy Angels, your own Guardian Angels, and Saint Michael the Archangel. The cry: "Who is like unto God!" (the motto of Saint Michael) will serve as a protection to many.

Those who are caught traveling on the road and unable to get to shelter will die as martyrs and be taken to Heaven, if they are good. Some children and others will be taken to Heaven beforehand, to spare them the horror of these days.

As reminded to us from Catholics Come Home, "What happens to us after death is an indication of our own personal, free choice to choose God and the path to holiness or to turn against Him. What happens after death also indicates who our God is—a God of both justice and mercy. As Christians, we should not fear death, but rather ready ourselves for it, by growing in holiness and striving for eternal life."

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE 3 DAYS OF DARKNESS CANDLES: as we see, we are warned the candle MUST BE 100% pure wax as no other mixture will light. BEESWAX is obviously the best option as it is NATURAL, and is the chosen material of the Church for blessed candles. Normally, the Church requires at least 51% beeswax to be present in altar candles to make it the majority material, but now, we need the wax to be 100% pure for the Days of Darkness.

Quote from Catholic Answers: "The wax produced by the honeybee is considered the sweetest and purist, the most appropriate for symbolizing the humanity of Christ. It is produced by the bees actually consuming honey (honey itself is a symbol for the superlative in sweetness, the sweetness of the Word of God). Christ identifies himself as the Light of the World and he says in Luke 12:49, “I have come to light a fire on the Earth. How I wish the blaze were ignited!” A flame will spread to what it touches. The candle also symbolizes Christ’s presence in the individual believer."
