Enjoy this excerpt:
Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
once lived in Galilee.
He healed the sick, He raised the dead,
He made blind people see.
The people were amazed by Him;
they hung on every word.
They asked Him, “Jesus, who are you?”
He said, “The Good Shepherd.”
The Shepherd says "I know My sheep
and all of them know Me,
Just as the Father knows His Son
and loves Him tenderly.”
Who are those sheep of whom He spoke
so very long ago?
What secret did the Shepherd want
His followers to know?
Written by two sisters to fulfill a childhood ambition to write and illustrate a book together. The author, Jenny, is a Montessori guide and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd catechist, and the illustrator, Caroline, is a former Disney artist who has created hundreds (now thousands?) of Holy Heroes coloring pages, prayer card art, and other illustrations.
