Father Charles Samson, assistant professor at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, has written a wonderful guide book to the Holy Land called, Come and See: A Catholic Guide to the Holy Land ($29.95 #84526). This guide is a must for anyone travelling to the Holy Land, or for those who just want to learn more about the land which Jesus walked.
Another professor at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, Dr. Lawrence Feingold, has just written one of the most complete books on the Eucharist called, The Eucharist: Mystery of Presence, Sacrifice and Communion ($54.95 #111773). This book comes complete with study questions and will surely enrich ones devotion to the greatest miracle we witness at every Mass. Dr. Feingold has other various titles relating Jewish types to New Testament fulfillments.
Monsignor Michael Witt, professor of Church history at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary and rector of All Saints Parish in University City, has written an outstanding four volume set on the Church History and Evangelization of St. Louis. Currently, Volumes One ($15.95 #103795) and Volume Two ($21.95 #105849) are available, and soon to be released will be Volume Three.
Father David Meconi, SJ, an assistant professor at St. Louis University and well known retreat leader, has written several books, and are spiritual powerhouses! Edited by Fr. Meconi are The Confessions by St. Augustine ($14.95 #80497) and Called To Be Children of God ($22.95 #105113). Fr. Meconi has also written a gem called 101 Surprising Facts About Church History ($16.95 #111293).
